Big-ticket kit,
easier to buy.
Euro Pizza Ovens sells commercial pizza ovens and catering equipment, with over 400 products and price tags in the thousands. The store was already there. Our job was to make it easier to shop, show which visits turn into orders, ask every buyer for a review, and move the whole site and inbox onto hosting we look after.
- WHO — Euro Pizza Ovens, commercial pizza ovens & catering equipment
- WHAT — Ecommerce CRO, Mega Nav, Live Search, GA4 & Consent Mode, Attribution Dashboard, Review Automation, Hosting & Email Migration, Email Signature
- WHEN — August – October 2026
- WHERE — South Hetton, County Durham · selling UK-wide
- HOW — Small, precise changes to a live WooCommerce store, then tracking, automation and hosting built around it
Keep the Store,
Fix What Hurts.
Peter at Euro Pizza Ovens didn’t need a new website. He had a WooCommerce store with over 400 products, iwoca Pay finance and leasing already in place. What he needed was for buyers to find the right oven faster, an easy way to talk to an expert, tracking he could trust, and a clear picture of where his orders and enquiries actually come from. We agreed a fixed scope and worked on the live site without taking it down.
- Work done on the live store, no rebuild and no downtime
- Fixed, agreed scope, every item checked off on the live site
- Changes added as managed code snippets, easy to switch off
A Mega Nav
That Updates Itself.
Peter’s biggest complaint was the shop menu. Buyers couldn’t see the range. We built a mega nav that opens from “Shop” with every category, its product count and the brands buyers ask for by name: Zanolli, Cuppone, Fimar, Middleby Marshall, Atosa and more. Counts update from the store on their own. On phones it becomes a simple accordion, and it works with the keyboard too.
- Categories, product counts and brands in one panel
- Counts pulled live from WooCommerce, no manual upkeep
- Mobile accordion and full keyboard support
Type “Zanolli”,
See the Oven.
Chefs often know the brand or model they want. We moved search to the top right where people look for it, and added a live suggestions dropdown that shows each product’s photo, price and category as you type, with a link to see every result.
- Search moved to the top-right of the header
- Live suggestions with image, price and category
- “See all results” for broader searches
Speak to
the Expert.
A five-figure oven is rarely bought without a question first. We added a “Speak to the expert” button to the header and a contact strip above the footer, and on phones a fixed bar with Call, WhatsApp and Speak to the expert, so help is always one tap away.
- “Speak to the expert” in the header on every page
- Fixed Call, WhatsApp and expert bar on mobile
- Footer contact strip with phone and email
Consent First,
Then Count Everything.
The Meta pixel was firing before anyone said yes to cookies, and Google Analytics wasn’t recording sales. We set up the cookie banner properly with Consent Mode v2, held back the Meta pixel and its cookie until consent, then wired up GA4 ecommerce events with real values: product views, add to cart, checkout and purchase. Enquiries, calls, WhatsApp taps and expert clicks are tracked as key events too.
- Cookie banner and Consent Mode v2 set up and tested
- Meta pixel and cookie held until consent
- GA4 ecommerce events with order values
- Enquiries, calls and WhatsApp taps tracked as key events
Where Do Orders
Really Come From?
GA4 is hard work for a busy owner. So we built Peter his own dashboard, styled like his site, that shows where visitors come from, which journeys end in an enquiry or an order, most-viewed against best-selling products, and who is on the site right now. It uses a cookieless tracker and a secure order hook, stores no personal details in plain form, and filters out scraper traffic. A one-page report can be printed for any date range. (Figures blurred here: they are Peter’s.)
- Custom attribution dashboard with sales, enquiries, sources and products
- Cookieless tracker plus a secure WooCommerce order hook
- Printable report for any date range
- UTM plan so email and TikTok show up as sources
Every Buyer
Gets Asked.
Euro Pizza Ovens had sold to hundreds of kitchens but had very few Google reviews to show for it. We built two automated workflows. One asks every new web buyer for a review by email and text a few days after their order, with a reminder, and stops if they have already left one or raised a problem. The other works back through past customers a few each day, so the asks go out steadily rather than all at once.
- Post-purchase review requests by email and SMS
- Past-customer drip, a small batch each day
- Automatic stop for anyone who has reviewed or complained
- Click tracking switched on for both workflows
A Clean Move,
Nothing Lost.
The site and mailboxes sat on an old server we didn’t control. We moved the website onto our own managed hosting and every mailbox onto Google Workspace, copied the DNS zone record by record, took full backups first and kept the old server running until everyone had confirmed nothing was missing. We also set up a text-message number for the business and designed Peter a new HTML email signature with a finance call to action.
- Website moved to Northern managed hosting
- All mail moved to Google Workspace and checked
- Full backups and a written switch-off checklist
- New HTML email signature with an iwoca Pay finance link
