Six Years,
One Partner.
Uniblend Consult help UK businesses buy gas, electricity, water and telecoms, and sort out disputes with suppliers. We have designed, built, hosted and looked after their website since 2020, and made the guides and brand material that sit around it.
- WHO — Uniblend Consult Ltd, utilities procurement consultancy
- WHAT — Web Design & Build, Website Redesign, Hosting & Updates, Guide Design, Brand Book
- WHEN — 2020–2026
- WHERE — Doxford Park, Sunderland, serving clients UK-wide
- HOW — A site built in stages, then redesigned, hosted and kept up to date year after year
Start Small,
Build Up.
In 2020 Uniblend asked us for a website. Rather than a “coming soon” page, we agreed to build it in two steps. First a landing page that previewed the site with the brand, contact details and chosen imagery. Then a fuller website built from modules: about us, services, case studies, testimonials, recruitment and a contact form. Building in modules meant the site could grow as the business did.
- Phase 1: two landing page designs, then the build
- Phase 2: a modular website, built on WordPress
- Designed so new services could be added later
Three Routes,
All Clickable.
We presented three working concepts, each live on its own preview address and shown on desktop, tablet and phone. All three used the brand’s green and orange over energy imagery such as solar panels and wind turbines. Uniblend could click through each one before choosing a direction.
- Three live concept sites to compare
- Every concept shown on desktop, tablet and phone
- Green and orange from the Uniblend logo
A Bigger Business,
A Bigger Site.
By 2024 Uniblend offered far more than energy contracts. We redesigned the whole site and updated the content to match. The homepage now opens with “Efficient Modern Procurement Solutions” and leads into procurement and support services, each with its own page.
- Full website redesign and content update in 2024
- Gas & electric, solar, water, CHP, siteworks, EV charging and VoIP pages
- Support pages for complaint handling, data management and IQMS learning
- Built on WordPress so the team can edit it
One Template,
Every Service.
Every service page follows the same pattern: a full-width photo hero with the brand overlay, a short welcome, a “Why choose Uniblend” section, then a shared contact block and testimonials. Visitors always know where they are, and Uniblend can add a new service without a new design.
- Consistent hero, intro and “why choose us” layout
- Client testimonials repeated across pages
- A clear “Get started” contact button on each page
Trust Starts
With a Process.
A consultancy that handles complaints for clients needs a clear complaints process of its own. In 2022 we added Uniblend’s complaint handling procedure to the site and put a captcha on the forms to keep spam out. The site now also has a page for Uniblend’s supplier complaints service.
- Complaint handling procedure page
- Captcha added to protect the forms
- Supplier complaints service page
A Guide People
Actually Use.
We designed a 14-page A4 Troubleshooting Guide for Utility Complaints. It explains the common complaint types and the proof you need, a five-step plan, when to escalate, Uniblend’s own resolution process, a printable checklist, email templates and the official bodies to contact. Coloured panels and arrows make each step easy to follow, and an illustrated cover makes it stand out.
- 14 pages covering energy, water and telecoms complaints
- Five-step plan laid out as a flow
- Checklist and copy-and-paste email templates
- Green photo spine ties each page to the brand
Everything
In One Place.
In 2026 we pulled the whole identity together into a brand book: the logo suite and when to use each version, the palette with exact values, type, buttons, photography, tone of voice, the guide layout and a full-page capture of every page on the site. Anyone designing for Uniblend now starts from the same rules.
- Logo suite with usage notes
- Master palette, type and UI styles
- Tone of voice and approved client testimonials
- Print, document and website rules
Hosted, Updated,
Looked After.
We have hosted the site since 2021 and keep making changes as the business moves: content updates in 2022, 2025 and 2026 on top of the 2024 redesign. Uniblend tell us what has changed and we update the site.
- Hosting since 2021
- Regular content and page updates
- Works on phones, tablets and desktops
