The video walks through the Oxitec mosquito delivery app interface from start to finish. It opens on the main dashboard showing an overview of active deployments, threat levels, and upcoming schedules. The design is clean and functional with a colour palette inspired by Oxitec's brand identity. We see the user tapping into a deployment, which brings up a GPS map view with recommended release points marked out. The navigation guides the farmer along a route to each point, similar to how a sat-nav works but purpose-built for field deployment. At each location, the user scans a QR code on the mosquito box to confirm correct placement, and the app logs the deployment with a timestamp and GPS coordinates. The real-time Spodoptera threat level data updates throughout, showing which areas have the highest pest activity. The order tracking section lets users request additional units, track delivery status, and manage their deployment calendar. The whole interface is designed to be usable by people who aren't necessarily tech-savvy. It's intuitive, minimal, and focused on getting the job done efficiently in field conditions.
