Reece runs Buddy’s Cleaning Services in Sunderland. He needed a proper website that gets people asking for quotes. We built it from scratch in four days, then kept adding to it as the business took on roofs, driveways and gutters.

Buddy’s Cleaning Services is a local, family-run firm with vans on the road every day. What it didn’t have was a website that explained what it does and made it easy to ask for a price. Reece wanted something professional, quick to load on a phone and live without a long wait. We built it from scratch and had it done in four days.

The home page builds up to one thing: a short free quote form. You give your name, phone, email, postcode and the service you want, and you get a clear confirmation without the page reloading. Behind it, each request goes through a Make.com automation straight to Reece’s email, marked as either a quote or a general contact, so nothing gets lost in a shared inbox.

His Jobs,
Not Stock Photos.
People want to see the van that will turn up and the work it does. So the site uses Reece’s own photos: the vans on a Sunderland street, a soft-washed roof with the moss half gone, block paving being jet washed, gutters cleared from the ground with a reach-and-wash pole. When he texts over a better photo, we swap it in.

New Services,
New Pages.
The first version covered windows, bins and driveways. As the business grew we rewrote the services around the work Reece now wins: window cleaning, roof cleaning, driveway and patio cleaning, and gutter, fascia and soffit cleaning. Each one has its own section with a plain explanation of the job and its own quote button.

Buddy’s cleans homes in Sunderland and takes commercial work across the North East. The site says that clearly so nobody books the wrong thing: an Areas Covered page lists the towns, and the copy on each service says whether it’s Sunderland only or region-wide. That also gives Google clear local signals for each service.

Easy to Read,
Day or Night.
Lots of people look up a cleaner on their phone in the evening. The site has a light and a dark mode with a simple switch in the header. Left on auto, it follows the phone’s own setting, or the time of day if there isn’t one, and it never flashes white before the dark theme loads.

Quick on a Phone,
Looked After.
Most visitors find Buddy’s on a phone, so the layout was built for small screens first, with the quote button never far away. The site is plain PHP with one stylesheet and no plugins, so there is little to slow it down or break. We host it too, and in October 2026 we moved it to a new, faster server behind Cloudflare.
