A Real Address,
Run Online.

Sunderland Business Address gives sole traders and limited companies a registered office at a real building in Roker, so their home address stays off Companies House. It is a Northern venture. We designed the brand and built everything behind it in October 2026: four websites, online sign-up, ID checks and a secure account for scanned post.

  • WHO — Sunderland Business Address Ltd, a Northern venture in Roker, Sunderland
  • WHAT — Brand Identity, Logo System, Four Websites, Sign-Up & ID Checks, Customer Account, Social Posts
  • WHEN — 2026
  • WHERE — Roker, Sunderland, serving the North East and the UK
  • HOW — A local service with a fully online front door: sign up, prove who you are and read your post without visiting

The Idea

Keep Your Home
Off the Record.

Every limited company must show a registered office on Companies House, and many sole traders put their home address on invoices and websites. A virtual office fixes that. The service runs from a real building in Roker. Our job was to make the service easy to trust and easy to join. We planned it, named it and built the website in Sunderland, starting on 1 October 2026.

  • Registered office and business address in one
  • Three plans, from a trading address to weekly forwarding
  • Sign up and manage everything online
  • Collect post in person at the Roker building
The Idea
The Mark
The Mark

Stamped,
Ticked, Delivered.

We wanted a brand that says “your post, handled” at a glance. After several rounds of concepts we landed on a postmark: two envelopes inside a round stamp, a red tick for “checked”, motion lines and franking waves. The wordmark is set in heavy Bitter with a red full stop. We kept away from all-caps blocks and city-pin icons so it would not be confused with other Sunderland brands.

  • Postmark mark with a round red tick
  • Bitter wordmark with a red full stop
  • Black, white and one red, with gold for premium pieces
  • Every logo drawn as clean vector with outlined type
Logo System

Smaller Size,
Simpler Mark.

One logo cannot work on a door plaque and a browser tab. We built three tiers. The large postmark keeps its ring text for signage and print. The medium version drops the text for headers and email signatures. The small mark is just the envelope and tick, for favicons and app icons. Each comes in reversed, red, gold and one-colour versions, with minimum sizes, and everything is on a public brand page as a download.

  • Large, medium and small logo tiers
  • Reversed, red, gold and one-colour versions
  • Favicon and app icon set
  • Brand kit page with a single zip download
Logo System
Four Brands
Four Brands

One Building,
Four Front Doors.

People search in different ways. Some look for Sunderland, some for Wearside, some for the North East, and some just want a UK address. So the same platform runs four sites: Sunderland Business Address, Wearside Business Address, North East Business Address and Business Address. Each has its own name in the postmark ring, its own headline and its own local photograph. Sign-up, accounts and the post room are shared.

  • Four domains, one platform and one login
  • Brand chosen by the domain a visitor arrives on
  • Local wording for each area
  • Shared plans, sign-up and customer accounts
Local History

Old Photos,
Properly Credited.

Stock photos of offices would make the business look like every other virtual office. Instead, each page carries a black-and-white picture of the area or the Post Office at work: Roker Pier being built, ships on the Wear, the Tyne Bridge closing its arch, a wartime postwoman on her round. Most come from Tyne & Wear Archives & Museums and Imperial War Museums. A credits page lists the date and source of every one.

  • Archive photos of Sunderland and the North East
  • Caption and credit under every picture
  • A credits page for every image used
  • A look no other address service has

Six Steps,
No Paperwork.

The law says an address provider must know exactly who its customers are. We built that into the sign-up rather than leaving it for later. Customers choose a plan, add their company, tell us about themselves, upload photo ID and proof of address, sign the agreement by typing their name and pay by card. No address goes live until every check has been signed off, and the database itself enforces that rule.

  • Plan, company, details, ID, agreement, payment
  • Typed-name e-signature on the agreement
  • Monthly or yearly card payments
  • Address only goes live after every ID check
Your Post, Online

Scanned, Sent,
Then Deleted.

When a letter arrives, staff scan it on a simple upload screen and the customer is told it is waiting. Customers sign in with a one-time code sent by email, with no password to forget, and read their scans in their own account. Each scan opens through a private link that expires after a minute, every view is logged, and scans are deleted for good after 90 days.

  • Password-free sign-in with an emailed code
  • Short-lived links to each scan
  • Every view recorded in an audit log
  • Scans deleted after 90 days

Plain Answers,
Local Pages.

We wrote every page in plain English, from the FAQ to the privacy notice, and built pages for the searches people make, such as a registered office address in Sunderland.
